Small Trades

Small Trades is inspired by a photo story shot by Irving Penn in the 1950's documenting men and women representing tools of their trade.

The First Project under the “Small Trades” label is a collection of 100% cotton panel rib knit t-shirts made in a factory that is family owned and operated in the USA since 1907.

The Second Project is a collection of Hand Made Knits from Bolivia.

Small Trades In Mougins, A Village On The French Riviera.

Mougins is a charming little village in the heights of Cannes in beautiful surroundings.

Artists such as painters like Pablo Picasso or Fernand Leger as well as singers, writers, actors came to live in this small paradise - Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Catherine Deneuve, Edith Piaf as well as Jacques Brel to name a few.

Pablo Picasso spent his last years in Mougins, on a small hilltop just beside the old village. His studio is now the tourist office. You can also view a selection of photos of Picasso in the “Musee de la Photographie” located in the center of the village.

If you ever travel in the South of France, Mougins is definitely a place to go and enjoy the views, the paintings as well as the delicious food in a relaxing and romantic environment.

Once a year, in September, Mougins hosts the annual “International Gastronomy Festival of Mougins”, or “ Les Etoiles de Mougins”, an international gastronomic event.
